According to WONDERLAND magazine, “If you were to assign a physical incarnation to a song, the latest track from Harleighblu would be fold upon fold of caramel”, while Clash magazine said the Nottingham native expands the neo-soul and R&B template “until it shatters into a million pieces”. Harleighblu has moved to give listeners raw, unapologetically feminine lyrics, shooting the artist towards the list of UK’s most promising artists. Sounds like…
A distinctive soulful tone which is accompanied with eclectic and bass interludes Harleigh’s songs are packed with a punch of rhythm and rich harmonisation. Their sound drips in expensive leisure, equally matching their exciting visuals and style. Harleighblu songs are effortlessly cool and their vocalists raspy, yet still hot vocal performance adds a certain sex appeal to her music.
The sound definitely pushes the boundaries of R&B, thus venturing the sound into the alternative R&B category and exposing the subtle, yet necessary, influence from the contemporary jazz genre.
In their lyrics…
Both captivating and flirty. The lyrics do their job of addressing modern femininism – as heard in Queeen Dem. This sound exploads with sex appeal and subtle mature themes. All made to sound super expressive and sensual.
Listen if you’re feeling…
A mood for the wine and chill, girls and boys. Listen if you would like to appreciate sensual vocals of a classical jazz cadence.
