Ayeisha Raquel, born and raised in East London, is a British alternative R&B singer-songwriter of Filipino-Ugandan heritage. Throughout Ayeish’s career she has racked up some champion moments including a number of performances. To date, the songstress has opened the stage for Qhairo at The Courtyard Theatre, and for Che Lingo at The Jazz Cafe. Ayeisha’s quality is self-released and produced songs were she radiates a raw and authentic nature. Her self-released singles on Soundcloud outlines the outcome of her depression and anxiety; songs such as ‘Uncomfortable’ produced by Aso, along with ‘heaven knows.’ and don’t you dare.’ which she produced herself.
In 2019, Ayeisha took to experimenting with her sound when she featured with the subgenre ‘Rhythm & Grime’. Her appearance on two singles – ‘If You’re Looking’ and ‘Darling’, were produced by Darkness. Ayeisha is best known for her feature The Loosies Project Vol. 1 and 2, and backing vocals on the ‘Ambrosia’ EP by emil, with appearances by A2 and Knucks. Ayeisha has also made music with Darkness (on a track called ‘Rather Be’ and ‘Darling’). Ayeisha’s music has been backed by medius such as: Acoustic Live UK,ReprezentRadio, TheresNoSignal, ThePitLDN, SoulSurgeUK, BLC.directory (on Instagram), Caramel Film Club, RCRDSHOP, GRLGNG, euknowthevibes, Seize The Vote, KRichRecords and WeWelcomeParty.
