Kendra Foster Brings the Funk
Kendra Foster, best known for her songwriting credits on D’Angelo’s Grammy-winning album, Black Messiah, released a new single titled ‘Promise to stay here’. The song is a funky, jazzy one, described by Kendra as ‘screaming Chaka Khan’. The song was inspired by a rocky long-distance relationship she was in, hence her promising her lover presence.
