14 March 2023 we went backstage with fast-rising Californian R&B singer, Fana Hues on the London stop of her first international headline tour. Take it from us, the vibes on Fana Hues’ tour are impeccable.
Having collaborated with the likes of Tyler the Creator and Brent Faiyaz, Fana Hues has established herself as a voice in R&B on the way to greatness. Fana made her mark with her 2022 debut album, Flora + Fana. The album is a beautifully cohesive body of work where Neo-Soul meets experimental R&B and Funk. Fana Hues is firmly one to watch. Notably, Fana’s singles, BAD bad, Breakfast and Icarus are some of the most standout newcomer contributions to R&B in recent years.
We therefore couldn’t wait to see Fana Hues live at her first London headline show at Omeara. Fana Hues hit the stage with a high energy collection of her catalogue to date. All night Fana’s vocals were stunning. Moreover, she has the fluid moves and charisma of a seasoned performer. It’s truly hard to believe this is her first headlining tour.
