Live footage of the best Cross the Tracks 2022 moments from Masego, Anderson .Paak, Kelis, Ezra Collective and more.

It’s a wrap on another fantastic year at Cross the Tracks. Since 2019, Cross the Tracks has established itself as London’s go-to festival for lovers of Jazz, Funk and Soul. For a fourth year in a row, X the Tracks took over Brockwell Park in Brixton on Sunday 28 May. It an uncharacteristically sunny day for London, as if the weather knew to start summer just in time.

Cross the Tracks promised great music and good vibes with a dreamy line-up. And it more than delivered. We are proud to have been part of an amazing day with our takeover of the Locomotion stage.

So let’s get to it. These are our fave moments from Cross the Tracks Festival 2023.

Masego Cross the Tracks Festival 2023 London Soul Festival

Masego’s good vibes galore

Masego and his saxophone are a guaranteed good time. The man absolutely brought the good vibes throughout his set. Standouts were his opener, Navajo, and Yamz.

The Blues Project Soul Cypher at Cross the Tracks

Our takeover of the Locomotion stage included our DJs playing between sets all day and sets from our line-up. But the highlight was undoubtedly the soul cypher featuring James Vickery, Lizzie Berchie, Karl Benjamin and Natanya. They all wowed the crowd with their freestyle verses, riffs and harmonies to D’Angelo’s Brown Sugar. It was EPIC!

Kelis’ euphoric ride through her iconic hits

Kelis’ Cross The Tracks set had the crowd singing along to her suite of hits. The singer reminded us she’s an ICON LIVING.

Kelis essentially performed a set long medley of her hits and turned the place into a full on party

Ezra Collective’s energetic showcase of musical mastery

After a spectacular Tiny Desk, we couldn’t wait for Ezra Collective at Cross the Tracks & they didn’t disappoint. Perhaps the world’s leading Jazz collective of musicians, they treated the crowd to incredible musicianship and energy.

Adi Oasis’ bumpin

Adi Oasis brought the magic on bass to the Locomotion stage. Proudly rocking her baby bump, she revealed that she is 7 months pregnant. The bassist was unstoppable with one of the best sets of the day

Emmavie

One of the Uk’s most promising R&B artists, Emmavie, took our Locomotion stage with a full band. She performed a set of her infectious head nodders. Favourites like Tune and Murder. If you’re not familiar with Emmavie’s catalogue, be sure to check it out, especially her EP, What’s A Diamond To A Baby.

Nxworries’ Cross the Tracks headline set

The dynamic duo that is Nxworries, composed of singer / multi-instrumentalist, Anderson .Paak and producer, Knxwledge, headlined the day. They blessed the main stage with catalogue gems like Suede and Where I Go, to close out a wonderful day.

The Silhouettes Project

The Silhouettes Project collective brought their jam style ENERGY with their eclectic line-up of artists. The energy at the D-Railed stage was electric as the collective wowed with their unique set.
