Canadian born, London based singer / producer / songwriter, Laura Roy, is back with a new single, Sunrise. Laura Roy has been progressing very well as an artist in recent years crafting her unique brand of neo-soul. The new track is the third single from her forthcoming Tides EP. It again showcases why she has been making progressive moves within the UK Soul space.
Sunrise is a heartwarming track about the importance of introspection and self-growth. Sunrise also taps into Laura’s upbringing in Canada and its influence on her as an artist. The track is awash with funk bass grooves, Laura’s honey smooth vocals and soulful harmonic transitions. It’s the perfect accompaniment to an end of day wind down.
As ever Laura’s captivating lyrical ability truly sets the scene on the track which invigorates as well as soothes the soul. We definitely will be on the lookout for the release of the EP when it lands.
