Jerome Thomas is a Soul, Jazz and R&B singer, best known for his distinct, soothing instrumentals and signature falsetto, which samples genres from Soul, Jazz, Folk to R&B and Hip Hop. Jerome’s latest EP, Conversations, has cemented the soul singer in his very own lane as one of the most dynamic and authentic voices to have emerged from the UK. The release of Conversations EP, launched fan favourites like Company and The Stone, Thomas released Didn’t Know. The EP the first of a double release with producer Warren Xclnce and featuring Joe Armon Jones. Jerome Thomas has been championed by heavyweight platforms and radio stations such as Afropunk, Earmilk, BBC 1Xtra/Radio 1, Apple Music, Beats 1, Clash, Complex, GENIUS, Highsnobiety, Jazz FM, MTV, Rinse FM, SkullCandy & i-D (VICE).
Most recently, he has collaborated with industry pioneers including BONDAX, Blue Lab Beats, Ty Macklin (Erykah Badu, India Arie), Serious Klein, Ezra Collective’s Joe Armon-Jones, as well as Soulection’s Jarreau Vandal, to mention but a few. It comes as no surprise that BBC 1Xtra DJ & tastemaker Jamz Supernova tipped him of as an ‘Artist To Watch’. Thomas is a gifted performer having sold out Jazz Café last year and confirmed a headline show at Village Underground (due to take place in early 2021).

The best of modern Soul, with swooning lyricism similar to Xavier Omar, Masego and Anderson Paak. Thomas’ sound is drowning in electronic-led production with soft and subtle flourishes of percussion. Each track is a treat that blossoms and flows alongside his butter-melting vocals. The talented voice is both romantic and oozes in desperation and passion. Sensual as it is, it’s wonderful to listen to the production of the classical instruments entwine with electric synths to beautifully piece something that’s truly out of this world.
