Musical lyricist, Monielle and elite producer, Jakspin are back again with a new track titled Never Let Go and it’s truly a vibe! The pair have been organically collaborating the past few years without, interestingly, having ever met. Can only imagine the fireworks we’d be getting if they did meet! Never Let Go provides endless soul and feels throughout.
Speaking about the inspiration for the track, they revealed “ ‘Never Let Go’ is about building on a really good friendship with someone and then realizing you’re actually falling for them. You hope they feel the same but you’re cool if they don’t. You’re putting your feelings out there.”
Jakspin’s production is a brilliant, jazzy backdrop which combines dreamy synth pads with electric guitars alongside chilled out strings. A funk inspired bass line is prevalent throughout, making the track a delightfully chilled yet soul soothing song that hits instantly. Monielle and Jakspin deliver Never Let Go with a fitting video full of summer feels. Check it and the excellent tune above.
