Those of you that have been part of our member community for a bit know we promised 2020 is the year we would be kicking the heat up a notch. Our latest project, a live session series called UNCOVRD, is a labour of our love for R&B and Soul in the UK. Covering all forms of modern soul music from contemporary R&B, electro-Soul, Hip Hop Soul, vocal jazz and more, The Blues Project always looks to offer an eclectic perspective on the talent on the come up. The premiere episode features the phenomenally-talented Shaé Universe. Shaé has achieved heights such as opening on tour for Eminem and nods from Notion, Complex, The Fader, Genius & MOBO, showcasing the calibre of artistry UNCOVRD will consistently deliver.
UNCOVRD provides a home-grown platform for the incredible range of talent in the UK. It is a series with each episode featuring an artist in 2 parts. Part I is a live session cover of fan favourites that transitions into the artist’s original music. Part II is a documentary with an unmasked view of the singer’s story and musical journey.
Our UNCOVRD live session series focuses on an organic, handheld aesthetic for an immersive experience. The pilot featuring Shaé Universe, uses this cinematography and warm, earthy tones to explore her musical depth, ability to create music that is both ear candy and deeply Soulful.
