German, LA-based singer, Bibi Bourelly has earned a reputation for not being one to mince her words (follow her on twitter for examples), a reputation she clearly embraces, naming her debut E.P. Free The Real. But there is so much more to this singer and this E.P. exemplifies that. Bibi is a strong vocalist, with song-writing chops and an ear for a hit – she wrote Rihanna’s BBHMM, as well as, songs for Usher and Lil Wayne. Her music is lyrically powerful as well, singing of love, hard times, self-love and female empowerment in ways that are best described as ‘real’.
