The James Vickery tour is a world class experience. Watch what went down on Vickery’s sold out world tour – an incredible feat for an independent R&B artist
James Vickery said ‘R&B is thriving’ and we couldn’t agree more. We attended his recent sold out show on the 4th May at the Islington Assembly Hall. The shared love for R&B by both the audience and performers was undeniable.
Best moments on the James Vickery tour
Shaé Universe, another leading UK R&B name, opened for James with her effortless angelic vocals. Both Shaé and James’ performances are a testament to how UK R&B has elevated to new heights. Shaé will be the opener on all the stops of the James Vickery tour so fans are in for a treat.
When James took the stage, he led with a familiarity that brought every member of the crowd in. The audience was very receptive to each song whether it be a slow jam or uptempo. It felt like a family link up.
The family theme was even more palpable with the brotherhood fans were treated to when Kojey Radical came out. James and Kojey sent the crowd to euphoric levels with their performance of their collab, With U.
The show’s ending was truly special. James and his crew came out fully dressed in white with very fitting choreography to match. A moment clearly meant to be an ode to old school R&B and the boy band era.
