This festival season we attended All Points East and we not only witnessed some incredible performances but also got to interview the infamous Gabriels for our Tour Diaries series.
Gabriels gave us a vivacious set with an animated stage presence accompanied by a sonically seamless performance. They played some crowd favourites such as ‘Glory‘ and ‘Offering‘ but there was one song that truly stood out during their set…
Highlights with Gabriels
1. ‘TABOO’
This song had the whole crowd singing with Gabriels. Every time ‘TABOO‘ was heard the audience was in unison. Not only did Gabriels come with the vocals, the dancing set this number alight. No one was able to stand still, the music was all consuming.
2. Reliving Gabriels’ ‘Offering‘
You may have seen their relatively recent COLORS Show, hearing ‘Offering‘ live allowed us to have a little taste of what it would have been like to be in the session with them. Captivation is most definitely the word to describe this number.
3. Meeting the band
We had the pleasure of interviewing the band straight after their set! The energy felt on stage was most definitely there in person as we discussed their favourite songs to perform, artists to look out for and what is next for the group. This dynamic trio is definitely one to watch as we heard through the grapevine that new music is on its way….
