Netherlands’ R&B icon Gaidaa headlined in both cities, so R&B live music lovers at SENSES were treated to her sultry tone and stellar catalogue. With support from Sipho and Melonyx in Manchester, Jerome Thomas and BAELY in London, every single act delivered. Accordingly, they treated our community to amazing vocals and R&B music all night. Certainly no surprises there.
Moreover, the energy in the room at both shows was infectiously beautiful. Thanks to the gorgeously talented host-DJ, Zeyla. Zeyla kept us laughing and kept the energy high with her eclectic, soulful mixes between the sets. Furthermore, Zeyla is a DJ you can’t put in a box. Rooted in Soul, her mixes draw from R&B, Hip Hop, Neo-Soul, House, Reggae and more.
Another highlight from the night was also our signature soul cypher. Before Gaidaa’s headlining set, our BLUES100 artists took the stage for a live performance of their soul cypher freestyles. It was a very special moment. Watch the soul cypher video below.
