A track that evokes emotion from the jump, Time In Our Lives touches on post break-up relationship trauma. Heavy lines like “If I knew my heart was going to break I wouldn’t love” throughout encapsulate the devastation of losing someone and moments you really wish you get back.
Production on the track is equally impressive. Heavy basslines merged with psychedelically soothing percussion aid Tendai’s vocals, pouring out lyrics that will grab hold of you. Despite its slow groove, the song is effortlessly catchy and is an easy stand-out on any soulfully smooth playlist!
Visually, Time In Our Lives is cinematic to say the least. The compelling video helps portray the mix of emotions Tendai is expressing during the track. On the whole,Time In Our Lives is a prime example of the artistry. Tendai yet again delivers and we can’t wait for where he takes us next.
