Summer-Pearl is a London born and bred, Jamaican / Grenadian rooted, genre-fluid artist.
Her debut EP, ‘Only Child‘, released in 2019 was a true introduction to this special artist. All sides of her personality and musicality were on full display.
In 2020, Summer released 8 singles with features from the likes of ENNY, LEVi, Eerf Evil and Teshay Makeda. She also released a lockdown two-track project, titled ‘Times Like These’, channeling her frustration for the world and racial injustice.
Since leaving the BRIT school of performing arts in 2012, Summer has been consistent with her writing, recording and wowwing crowds at gigs in the UK and around the world. In 2021, when many artists have been starved of live music opportunities, she’s headlined Soho Radio’s line-up at South Facing Festival, headlined at Soho House and Hootananny. It’s a testament to her powerful vocal performances and stage presence.
In her own words Summer says: “music is a meditation on my past and reflection of our present. It is both a personal and political message exploring black and female liberation and love gained and love lost. It is heavily influenced by Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hop and Dub; I channel the experience of ancestors, women and myself to conjure these emotions”

I am creating a brand that enforces racial and social change, ensuring that my music is an inspiration to the next generation of black and all artists.”
