Amber Mark is back with a brand new single Competition. The multi-dimensional singer / songwriter is set to drop her debut album later this year and Competition is the second single from the project since the release of Worth It in April.
Competition is an empowering track touching on the importance of perseverance collectively and as an individual. Speaking on the track Amber describes, “I hold this one so close to my heart. ‘Competition’ comes from a state of always comparing yourself to others and how ruthless that competitive nature can be towards yourself and towards others. The song is a reminder of how much stronger we are together.”
As we’ve come to expect from Amber Mark’s signature anthems, the track is a bop from start to finish. The up-tempo production with lush synths and jazz-influenced piano sections, sets the tone. Amber’s musing melodies and chants of collective empowerment bring it home. In addition, Amber Mark’s vocals match the tracks unapologetically raw energy.
That being said, the flawless visual truly takes the track to another level. Jam packed with an array of delightfully choreographed pieces, the video is rich and aesthetically immense. Again, adding to the high confident energy of the track.
