Dvtn (formally known as Devotion) are a sibling duo from South East London that comprise talented brother and sister act; Daniel and Peace Oluwatobi. The dynamic duo, who come from a Nigerian family of eight siblings, have shown their talent off to the smallest venues and have graduated to a much larger crowd. The talented duo discovered their expert act at the tender age of nine and eight. Beginning from their humble take-off when they used to play at local venues, to moving to larger venues like the Peckham Theatre and the Albany Theatre, to the iconic heady heights of Hackney Empire.
To add fire to their already burning flame of talent, Dvtn were one of the first artists to perform in the House of Commons alongside the enigmatic Jermain Jackman (Winner of BBC’s Voice 2014). Now at the peak of their adulthood and juggling work and parenthood, their musical journey continues as the pair look to finding themselves as well as organising their very busy personal lives to ensure that their sound is still at the forefront of who they are. Merging Soul and Jazz into elements of hip hop, fans can expect vibes from this brother / sister duo. In 2017, the duo released their first EP, The Journey Project, featuring five refreshingly soulful tracks. In 2019, the pair appeared on Nathan Hector’s album, All or Nothing, singing alongside talents such as Shae Universe and J Kaz.
