The single features Chicago-based singer, Phoelix who vocally dazzles over a delightfully-arranged beat that infuses jazz, funk and hip-hop elements. Sonically, the track embodies the beauty of a collab between several wonderkids that still leaes room for each to shine. With this supergroup, each artist had a pivotal role, exemplified by Sleepless Nights.
From the soulful saxophone sections from Kamasi Washington, the melodically soothing piano keys from Robert Glasper, to the delightful horn sections from Terrace Martin. 9th Wonder’s boom-bap inspired drum lines takes it all to the next dimension.
