Yet another son of the ‘6 making waves in the alternative R&B space, Jahkoy Palmer, known musically as ‘Jahkoy’ is a 21 year old Toronto native, but moved to L.A. to pursue a music career. Jahkoy has described his music genre as ‘bipolar’, and while his R&B stylings are clear, a range of influences can be heard and enjoyed in his music. His latest release ‘All of you’ below.
Walking in quite a different lane, North Londoner, Allana Verde, put out a ‘Warning’ to all those ‘bitches [who] wanna take away my baby’. The song is set in the background of a hardcore thumping beat and she even raps, more than sings at points.
