It’s fair to say the sub-genre of Alternative R&B is only getting stronger. Two names waving the flag for the sound are Kadeem Tyrell & Ka-Li.

Kadeem Tyrell has been steadily on the rise in the UK Soul scene. Ka-Li are a duo consisting of singer / songwriter Indigo Lily and producer, Sam Posener. Drawing influence from Lauryn Hill to Led Zeppelin, the pair have already dropped two very well received singles in recent months and plan on a further 2 EPs later in 2019.
