We’re so excited to be presenting a new artist discovery this week! Meet RUE, a singer-songwriter and poet from Londontown. On this occassion, she’s singing about a relationship from a previous season that is grateful was only a season.
Seasons is a lush, but simple mid-tempo R&B track with an electronic flourish that immediately warms the listener. She describes her music as a blend of poetry, Hip Hop, R&B and Neo-Soul. The fusion shines through and RUE also shows off her poetic skills. It’s a truly fresh sound, unique to RUE. We heard it and knew it was the one this week.
