Track of the Week: Lylo Gold’s ‘Over U’ is the ’90s R&B throwback we all need in our lives

Lylo Gold Over U

East London born and bred buzzing singer-songwriter, Lylo Gold released a second single from her upcoming EP, Heartache & Wray. The song, Over U, pays homage to the catchy, beat and harmony-driven style of ’90s R&B. Over U will give you Aaliyah, TLC and Pink Can’t Take Me Home feels.

It’s a quirky, upbeat, head nodder featuring production from Lylo’s frequent collaborator, XVR BLCK. BLCK has produced most of Lylo’s upcoming EP, Heartache & Wray. Described by the singer as her “most difficult project to date”, Heartache & Wray is a long sought after project from Lylo as she continues to establish herself and experiment with her sound.
