Kwaye takes us out of this world with Solar
Kwaye, the London-based Zimbabwean Soul music sensation best-known for being discovered in the back of an uber by a former A&R manager turned uber driver. Following his signing by Mind of a Genius records, the powerhouse label behind Gallant, he has quickly generated strong interest with debut single, Cool Kids, receiving millions of plays across streaming services.
This past week, the singer released Solar, a 3-track EP showcasing the best of Kwaye’s infectious blend of Soul, House and Funk. Solar is a feel good, summery homage to the ’80s. Listen to the bite sized piece of heaven below and check out the vibrant video for Cool Kids above.
