Last weekend, 22 – 23 July, AFROPUNK Fest London went down with a bang at Printworks, London. The afrocentric avant-garde safe space had one of London’s best musical line-ups and offered the absolute cultural extravaganza. The several times Little Simz stunned with music from ‘Stillness in Wonderland’

We’ve raved about Simbi Ajikawo, better known as the rapper Little Simz, for a bit now since the release of her stellar project, Stillness in Wonderland.  Backed by a full live band, Simz performed several of her biggest cuts from the album and absolutely got the crowd going. Corinne Bailey Rae tenderly took us back

It was extra extra energy throughout upcoming rapper taking the London Grime scene by storm, Nadia Rose. The rapper gave the most hyped up performance we’ve seen in a while of her club hits, including absolute banger, Skwod.

Connie Constance reminded us why she is one to watch

For fans of truly alternative Soul music, Connie Constance is absolutely one to watch. The singer’s fusion of jazz, Soul, electronica and rock truly defies genre classification and ever since she was listed on NME’s Generation Nomad feature, her star has continued to rise.
