Our track of the week is from an artist we’ve only just discovered, but we can’t get enough. LAPP’s ‘Sunny’ is the beaming, cruising jam you need in your life to get in the mood as you gear up for the summer. The track is written and produced by the singer, LAPP (Luke Papini), former frontman of Wild Rossa And The ’88, Liverpool based rock band known for making rock music infused with a range of influences.
LAPP has stepped out on his own and hopefully, ‘Sunny’ is reflective of his new musical direction – good Soul music infused with Folk, Rock and Jazz. The track lifts from the first chord and only takes you higher as the bass guitar gives way to blazing saxophone riffs.
